Struggling with pain during or after runs?
Do you have pain in your back, hips, knees, legs, or feet during or after runs? Running requires your entire body to work in unison to provide a smooth stride. Treatment for Running Injuries
The first step in treating any condition is identifying the muscles/structures that are causing the pain and helping that structure heal and regain normal range of motion. This is done by utilizing chiropractic adjustments and/or soft tissue techniques such as Active Release Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) or Dry Needle Trigger Point Therapy.
The second step is correcting any underlying bio-mechanical issue that caused the area in question to become overworked and subsequently become injured. This is done by identifying any weak areas during movement patterns and then strengthening them so they no longer put extra stress on the area in question or any other areas.
